School Rules

Chanakaya International School Jalandhar is committed to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. To achieve this, we have established the following school rules:

Respect and Courtesy: Students are expected to show respect and courtesy towards all members of the school community, including teachers, staff, and fellow students. Verbal or physical abuse, bullying, or discrimination will not be tolerated.

Attendance and Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for academic success. Students are expected to attend all classes on time and submit assignments on or before the due date. Absences must be reported to the school office.

Dress Code: Students are expected to dress appropriately for school. Clothing that is revealing or offensive is not allowed. The school uniform must be worn at all times, and students must maintain a neat and tidy appearance.

Academic Honesty: Students are expected to maintain academic integrity at all times. Cheating, plagiarism, or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in disciplinary action.

Technology Use: The use of personal electronic devices is strictly prohibited during school hours unless approved by a teacher for educational purposes. The use of technology must also comply with the school’s acceptable use policy.

Safety and Security: Students are expected to follow all safety and security procedures, including emergency drills and evacuation procedures. Students must report any safety or security concerns to a teacher or staff member immediately.

Personal Property: Students are responsible for their personal property, including school books, equipment, and electronic devices. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
